PreventX Online is the conference for primary prevention of violence against women practitioners.
Over two days you’ll have the opportunity to engage with the best minds in the prevention sector, with a focus on voices from the margins. From grassroots local learnings to prevention in the international arena, PreventX Online has something for everyone.
Don’t miss out!
PreventX 2020 is moving online!
Connection and inspiration are now more important than ever, along with keeping primary prevention of violence against women firmly on the social and political agenda. Following the postponement of PreventX 2020 in April due to COVID-19 restrictions, DVRCV has been working hard to bring the energy and sense of community of PreventX onto our screens and into our homes.
PreventX Online will give you the opportunity to engage meaningfully with sector leaders, content experts and your prevention peers.
Over two days, participants will attend a panel discussion, keynote presentation, lightning talks and breakout sessions. Together we will tackle some of the challenges facing Victoria’s prevention sector.
PreventX Online will leave you feeling inspired, connected and ready to strengthen your work in primary prevention.
When: Tuesday 17 November (10am - 12.30pm) & Wednesday 18 November (10am to 1.10pm)
Meet our speakers!

Testimonials from PreventX 2019 attendees
“There was time and permission to talk, share, wonder and connect with colleagues from around the country. We collectively plugged into a giant power board and recharged and restored… I came away with some fresh thoughts, and some new ideas.”
“It was electric! The team behind this is incredible! The energy, people - attendees, experts/ facilitators, MCs, atmosphere, everything was so great. I could tell that diversity and inclusion were prioritised in the planning and organising which was great to see and a step forward for our sector.”
